Great Good Will Exercise (Maha Maitri Abhyaas)

To promote good will among young people of the world, through various initiatives that focus on creating lasting educative experiences. It involves projects and people from all over the world.

Expeditions and Exchanges

As part of the Great Good Will Exercise , Good Will creates expeditions to different parts of the world, to bring differing and distant cultures into contact.

Good Will works with schools from different parts of the world and brings young people together through cross-cultural educative expeditions and exchanges.

The World as a Classroom

Notwithstanding the closeness that comes from technological advancements that make communication easier between distant people and places, Good Will creates true experience of distant and difference. Culture is an invisible power that is almost always ignored when consistent methods and interfaces mask the differences and mislead people into believing that people live nearly the same way all over the world. This is true on the surface level, but if one believes it to be wholly what different cultures are like, then one misunderstands and miscalculates by a huge margin. The world is a classroom precisely because there are a plethora of differing cultures and ways of life. Each opening a new world of learning. Understanding the diverse and different nature of peoples is the objective of Good Will Expeditions. Good Will Creates exchanges wherein young people go to live among partners from a vastly different culture.

A Mix of Various Methods

Learning through World Cultures, being physically in places of historical significance, interactions with locals, living among families, dialogue and impressions, learning by doing, young leadership, learning to lead while still being young, learning and teaching philosophy and its vital importance to an individual's over all development.

Materials, conferences, seminars and workshops, cross-cultural competence, Philosophical understanding and immersion, adventure learning including camping in forests, scouting, trekking and mountain climbing, physical activities in nature that promote strength of character, self-reliance and endurance.

Young Leadership

Learn to study. Learn to relate what you studied to what you could do. Develop a sense of purpose and meaning.

Good Will designs and implements Youth Leadership programs that instill a sense of purpose, vision and character building in young people. Dealing with adversity, opposition, learning to rally people around a focused objective, making speeches that move multitudes... with a strong philosophical basis, the programs aim at strengthening the core of the young person.
