"If the best in you comes out when in discussion or while working with other people then it could be that you need a trigger to get the best in you out. The other is the trigger. But if the best in you comes out from within you without anyone to trigger it off then it’s original thought and it’s the sign of genius.... what you do when working or matching wits with another, when fighting with another person, is a consequence of the other. There are individuals and cultures that value harmony and yet create works of genius. This is a sign of true intelligence. A sign of greatness. However, greater than intelligence is character..."
"...one's character is one's destiny. Character is Will."
Raju Ravitej is not a philosopher, yet. But a philosopher-in-the-making, perhaps will remain so in perpetuity.
He has not attended University nor studied philosophy under the tutelage of Professors. He read philosophy and studied it by himself and through the direct experience of life.
His yet to be published philosophical work, of which Good Will Philosophy is one part, is based on Immanuel Kant’s Critique of Pure Reason and his moral and religious philosophy. There are strong elements of Indian Philosophy too in his works, especially of Adi Shankara, as well as Arthur Schopenhauer’s.
From age 15 to 22 Raju Ravitej was successfully unemployed in various odd jobs from waiting on tables to office assistant to that 'easiest job to get' and 'hardest to keep', ‘Salesman’. He sold, or at least pretended to, carbon paper, floppy disks, packaged software, telephones, advertising copy and artworks and overseas education among other things. The formally uneducated and unemployable young man, from age 22 (1994) onwards, working odd jobs here and there, ran his own enterprise under which he spoke, wrote, advised and trained several individuals and organizations on enterprise, life and living, culture & conflicts and politics. As a part of this work, he travelled and delivered his works largely in India first and then gradually in Germany, Netherlands, Poland, Finland, Sweden, South Africa, Australia, and Southeast Asia. His clients included multinational corporations, diplomatic missions, large governmental organizations, police and bureaucrats and schools & higher educational institutions. He authored 11 books for students up to the age of 15. The books were titled 'Life Lessons' and are taught in schools in Telangana and AP.
For more than 14 years, he was involved in politics through two regional political parties, which he is no longer part of. He has authored a socio-political philosophy book for the political party he was very closely involved with.
He finally arrived at the stage, which all persistently unemployable individuals who can do nothing else arrive at, that is writing and speaking philosophy. He founded Inspire India in 2002 and Good Will Society in 2014.
