His Excellency, Hon Adam Burakowski inaugurated the Good Will European Exchange 2018 between the Hyderabad Public School (Ramanthapur) and The Maharajah School of Warsaw, Poland (Bednarska First Charter High School), here in Hyderabad on the 21st of January 2018.
The Ambassador, an alumnus of the Bednarska School, was elated at the fact that the two prestigious schools have come together in Good Will and have started to cooperate for expeditions and exchanges between India and Poland. A fluent Hindi speaker and lover of Kishore Kumar and Lata Mangeshkar Songs, the Ambassador enthralled the students and teachers with his love for India, Indian culture and food.
The Ambassador was welcomed by the Principals of both the HPS and Bednarska and the Board Member of HPS Mr. Fayaz Khan, at a colour ceremony followed by lunch with a generous spread of Hyderabadi Cuisine. The inaugural ceremony was attended by Dr. DVG Krishna Dean of Kedia Management College and also by Dr. D T Barki, the internationally renowned Solar Scientist. The parents of the Indian students, the visiting European student delegation, teachers and staff of HPS and the student council of HPS was also in attendance at the glittering ceremony.
The Good Will Exchange between the two prestigious schools led by Dr. Narasimha Reddy (Principal of HPS Ramanthapur) and Dr. Bartek Pielak, Principal of Bednarska School have exchanged student visits to each other’s campuses and are set to continue this excellent cooperation with ease and educative excellence. Both the Principals have shown great vision to embrace the idea and provided for their respective schools and for each other a great and unique experience.

The Bednarska students from Warsaw were hosted by the HPS students in their homes for 12 days and the programme for exchange consisted of several exciting activities including debates, discussions, music, song and dance programmes, visits to the country side, sight-seeing and enjoying the Indian culture and hospitality. The Bednarska School is now looking forward to the reciprocal visit of the HPS Students to visit Warsaw and experience the Polish culture.
