Collegium da Vinci in Poznan, Poland welcomed the Good Will European Expedition students from India on the 19th and 20th of May 2017.
The two days started with a warm welcome by the Vice Chancellor of Collegium da Vinci, Dr. Łukasz Fojutowski and with short speeches filled with wit and vision for the future of young people both in India and Poland. On Good Will’s part Mr. Raju Ravitej Founder-Chairman of Good Will Society made a round of introductions of the visiting delegation.
While the students all enjoyed workshops and games the teachers and adult coordinators enjoyed a tour of the University with excellent facilities for both mind and the body. The joint interactions proved to be a stimulating exercise where the students all came together to design the motto of CDV, “The Place for the Curious” in their several native languages of India. One of the unique exercises was to make a film based on an old Polish movie scene of a sword fight, a duel between two warriors. The teams consisting of Polish and Indian students undertook this task and created a beautiful synergy in bringing out a funny and creative short film.
The day ended with songs sung by Jacob Lee, the Good Will Youth Ambassador from Australia and Bhavya Pampana and Gamya Raju from India. The occasion was even more important as it was the birthday celebration of Sasha (Aliaksandra) Balashova, the Director for International Projects at CDV.
